If your current stylist keeps getting it wrong; you’re in the wrong tribe!
If your current stylist keeps getting it wrong; you’re in the wrong tribe!
I grew up outside Washington, DC in Rockville, Md. I attended and graduated from the University of Maryland with a BGS, half of which is Poly Sci and the other half Psychology. I have education from both beauty and barber schools.
I came to Greensboro, NC in 2006 for my wife and step-daughters to whom I’ve been married since 2007.
I have been a licensed stylist since 1986. I worked in Montgomery County, Md as a stylist for 20 + years, with several stints in the wealthy suburb of
Bethesda, Md.
I specialize in colors and cuts and am a certified colorist by Joico and Matrix. I can do anything dealing with color or lightening services, including balayage and hilites. I am constantly educating myself on all matters hair, with hair shows, classes, magazines, and numerous online sources.
Your hair is just as important to me as it is to you. It isn't called a crown and glory for nothing.
You should be able to re-create the look your hair dresser styles for you. A hair dresser should take the time to teach you how to accomplish the look. Otherwise, what good is the work if you can’t make it look the same as the stylist does?
If your current stylist isn't getting your hair right then something is wrong. Are you one of these people not happy with your stylist? Is this the stylist you really want to stay with? You're not doing them any favors by sticking with them, and an even less favor to yourself.
We, as stylist’s, are not robots. But if it isn’t right after three times, then it’s time to change stylists. No stylist will ever please everyone. Your Sister's stylist may be great for your Sis, but horrible for you; and vice versa. The only true way to know if a stylist is right for you is for you to sit in the chair yourself. Being a stylist isn't just about doing hair. You and I need to be comfortable with each other on multiple levels and have an ease of communication with each other. Over the years, I have pleased many a soul. Are you one of my tribe? Only one way to find out! Come sit in my chair. It's the only way to truly know.
I work in a window front studio, alone, and by appointment only. I use my cell phone for work. I accept calls and texts between the hours of 8:30 am and 8 pm Monday - Saturday. I do not work on Sundays; chair or phone.
Please understand that I do not have a receptionist to take calls. I can not stop in the middle of someone’s chemical service to answer your call. If you receive my voice mail, please leave a message and I will respond to you as soon as possible.
Please, no calls after 8 PM, but a text is ok up until 9 PM.
If you're not happy with your current stylist, or your stylist is retiring or moving, and you are in need of a new stylist, please come try me. I'm very good at what I do, I know how to listen to you, and
I CARE!
Thank you for your interest and for visiting my website. I look forward to serving you.
